THE PURPOSE
Raise awareness of identity theft.
THE PROJECT
Creation of a fake tour operator to approach and interview tourists visiting Venice to check how easily people provide elements that can be used to identify their passwords when they believe they are responding to a market survey. One hundred questionnaires filled out on the street in two days, plus distribution of printed information on the risks of phishing scams.
The campaign allowed us to create newsworthy content carried in the main media, including radio and TV.
